Vacuum Dryers

This type of drying is performed either with cylindrical drying cells (ROLL model) or with rectangular cells (SQUARE model) that use either intermittent vacuum (Pagnozzi patent) or continuous vacuum. Heating can be done via hot water or electricity.

Advantages:

• Drying of stacked laminated wood
• Easy loading of wood stacks with a forklift

From 10 m³ to 100 m³ per drying cell.

Vacuum Press Dryers

Based on a cylindrical drying cell with heating and continuous vacuum plates (PRIMO model), WDE MASPELL presents a new version of the vacuum dryer. This model uses vacuum not only for drying but also to apply a pressure of 10 tons per square meter on the wood planks throughout the entire drying cycle (Pagnozzi patent). It is also suitable for veneer drying.
